Bad experience. The place looks shady with you being the only customer. No waiter to attend. Order comes after you have lost your appetite. Idli was not made with fresh batter. Chutney was yukk. It had absolutely no taste.

Overall, a big no no.

Tried Onam feast here. It was good. I am going to my Mallu friends house for years for Onam. Ofcourse obviously this cant be compared with home food from a mallu household. But for a restaurant in pune it did pretty good. I won't say it was totally authentic as Avial wasn't upto the mark. They should have cooked in coconut oil.
All in all good and staff is courteous. Will visit again for trying breakfast.

hello,
all bakwas... this place is no where near 'Dakshina'.. first it's up north, i mean we need to literally climb 4 floors, ... then after reaching the 'summit' you find only urself up there.. that's ok on mountains, but did not expect here... we were searching for an authentic south Indian meal.... but to our loss, we had to settle for south Indian fast food - Dosa/idli/vadai ! that was good although ... but expectations for South Indian food had to be simply squashed !
really pathetic !
i thought of A Rama Nayak - Matunga [Mumbai] like expr ... wonder how this City does not have one like that, all the more when it's approx 130 kms closer to South as compared to Mumbai ?

PLEASE AVOID !

& Zomato guys ! pl make your search engines stronger... we look towards you for 'authentic' 'finds' & not just advts !
