Normally mom makes Idlis at home but last week I decided to order some Idlis from this new delivery only service called, Cafe Idli.
How did I come to know about cafe idli??
Someone in my brother's office had ordered from them and he was like, dude those idlis were so soft and fluffy, you need to try it.
So just like an elder brother, I asked him to place the order and cordinate for the delivery & later pay for it too????
They accept orders a day prior and bulk orders are accepted with minimum order Rs. 300.
So order was placed for 50 Idlis, Half liter Chutney & a1.5 liter of Sambar. (This is sufficient for 5 people)
The breakfast was delivered by 10am as requested - neatly packed, hot and without any hassle.
As narrated by my brother, the Idlis met the expectations and Chutney and Sambar over exceeded it.
Sambar was a typical Malayali type and similar to the one I had in Thrissur few years ago at a friend house. Spicy and with veggies.
Coconut chutney was divine.
Their menu also have Kerela Parotta and Kerela Chicken Curry which I am planning to order soon for a weekoff lunch???? attaching their menu for more options.
Another plus post is, the food is prepared by the owner's mom and itself is the certificate that the other items in the menu are going to be just awesome.
