I had one of the worst dining experiences at Dastak Restaurant and I regret going there because from the very first moment things felt wrong, the ambience was completely off with a negative and depressing vibe and a strange smell filled the air as soon as I stepped inside which instantly made me uncomfortable, the place looked deserted as if hardly anyone visits and that impression was confirmed when I noticed dust clearly settled on the plates and spoons placed on the table which was a huge sign of poor cleanliness and hygiene, still I decided to give it a try and ordered a thali but what came was shocking, the chapatis served were so hard and dry that they felt like papads instead of soft rotis, the sabji was extremely ordinary without any proper taste or freshness, the portion of rice was so small that it looked like it was meant for a child and was not at all satisfying, and the worst part came when dessert was served because the gulab jamun was clearly stale, hard to chew, and had such a weird smell that I could not even eat it, the entire meal was stale, badly presented, and left me feeling disappointed, cheated and upset.
