Upon arriving at the stall, I was greeted by a rather indifferent counter staff who seemed preoccupied with their dosa-making duties. A slight lack of communication initially left me unsure if my order was acknowledged, but a little persistence did the trick. The waiting time was reasonable, and my patience was rewarded with two plates of delightful creations. The "Loni Sponge Masala Dosa" and "Loni Uttapam" stole the show with their delectable flavors and distinctive textures. The dosa had the perfect blend of crispy exterior and soft interior, while the uttapam was notably spongy, delivering a delightful mouthfeel. Now, while the food itself deserves high praise, it's important to address some nuances that come hand in hand with this affordable culinary experience. The stall's clientele primarily consists of college students and young professionals, contributing to a lively yet noisy atmosphere. Conversations can sometimes get a bit colourful, with lots of swearing in air, which might not be ideal for a family wanting to have fun. The limited space on footpath has a tendency to fill up quickly, and the pesky presence of flies around the food can be a distraction. PS: If you are pure vegetarian then avoid visiting this place. The regular customers have seen and know that they add eggs in the batter to make it more spongy. I would suggest you to try the other stall of "Dakshin Davangiri, Shri Loni Sponge Dosa" which is located on Manewada Cement Road, near Apulki Vairagade Hospital. The crowd and hygiene there is a lot better than this place.
