We landed in Hyderabad and knew right away that a visit to Hotel Dakshin (ITC Kakatiya) was a must. So the very next day, we were there for our afternoon meal and it was absolutely worth it.We went for their signature thali, which had a wonderful mix of chicken, mutton, fish, prawns, and vegetarian dishes — each one packed with authentic South Indian flavours. The preparations beautifully represented different regions of Southern India, and every bite felt rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced.I was completely flabbergasted looking at the silver cutlery — such an elegant touch that instantly elevated the dining experience.A special mention to Kamlesh, who was very calm, attentive, and made our meal even more pleasant.From presentation to taste, everything was spot on. It’s rare to find a meal that satisfies both the heart and the stomach this well.A must-visit and a must-try if you’re in Hyderabad!
