The place was unhygienic, with dirty seating arrangements. The pav bhaji lacked taste and felt like it was made with plain boiled vegetables rather than a properly spiced bhaji. Daffodils on Hanuman Road, Vile Parle East, has been a familiar and trusted name for many years, especially for those living in and around the area. A few years ago, the experience used to feel a lot more special, and it was one of the go-to places for a casual South Indian meal. Even today, they serve decent South Indian food, and their Onion Uttapa continues to be one of the better items on the menu. It is crisp, flavourful, and consistently enjoyable. The Pav Bhaji is also quite popular and worth trying if you’re ordering from here. They offer home delivery, which is convenient and usually timely, especially for regular customers. However, the dining experience inside the restaurant can feel a bit congested, particularly during peak hours. The seating space is limited and closely placed, which might not be very comfortable for larger groups or families. Hygiene is an area that could definitely be improved, both in terms of the dining space and the overall ambiance. There is no air-conditioning, so the experience during summers can be a bit uncomfortable. Parking is also difficult to find in this neighbourhood, so be prepared to spend some time searching if you’re driving. Overall, Daffodils still delivers familiar taste and value for money for quick meals and home delivery.
