Not what you expect inside a hotel! Elegant decor, great service, tasty food, and live music. Priced more than local restaurants but still cheaper than a dinner at USA Indian restaurant. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Lots of vegetarian options, of course. I recently dined at Daawat-E-Nawab, nestled within the stunning Taj hotel in Agra, during my visit to the Taj Mahal. The restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by its beautiful decor, setting a perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. While the food was good, I found it lacking in depth, with flavors that were surprisingly mild. Despite this, the authentic dishes were enjoyable, albeit slightly underwhelming. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable service, with attentive staff providing exceptional hospitality. Additionally, there was some live music, a very talented young artist playing covers of Bollywood songs, it was cool; however, it was a bit loud. Lastly, do not miss the opportunity to indulge in their delicious kulfi, which is undoubtedly the best part!
