(3/5). Daawat Restaurant – Burla Visited Daawat during my recent trip to Burla for a medical case, hoping to relive some nostalgic VSSUT days. The food was okay-ish, nothing exceptional but decent enough. One thing that stood out was the waiting time—I had to wait longer than usual for the food to arrive, even though the place wasn’t extremely crowded. The staff was friendly and polite, which made the experience better. However, the portion sizes felt smaller compared to what they call a “full plate.” I especially felt it with the Mix Veg curry, which felt pricey for the quantity served. Even eating two naans felt difficult because the curry wasn’t enough to match it. Overall, Daawat is fine for a one-time visit, but I wish the portion sizes were better for the price.
