Daalchini: Consistently Satisfying with Standout Dishes Daalchini is a place that always leaves us satisfied! Their combo meals are a great deal and truly worth the price, offering excellent value. Culinary Highlights Our must-have side order is the Stick Chicken —you absolutely must try it. The chicken meat is incredibly soft, tender, and perfectly deep-fried, served with a wonderfully thick mayonnaise. The Nool Parotta combo was good, though we found the chicken pieces in the accompanying gravy to be merely average, possibly because we visited late, well past the usual dinner hour. The Kari Dosa was also average. If you've had the authentic Kari Dosa from a good mess in Madurai, you will likely agree that this version doesn't quite measure up. Just like the Stick Chicken, the Elaneer Payasam is a must-try dessert here! It's a fantastic, refreshing end to the meal. Service Excellence & Amenities Beyond the food, the service stands out. They thoughtfully provide complimentary balloons for children , which the kids absolutely love. A moment of genuine honesty and dedication truly impressed us: we realized we had forgotten our thermos flask as we were about to drive away. Before we could even get out of the car, a waiter came running out to return it to us. This exceptional, honest gesture, even though we hadn't tipped him, shows a high level of integrity and is a great reason to revisit. Overall, Daalchini is a reliable, value-driven spot with some brilliant signature items and stellar service. It's little difficult to find a safe street parking spot here.
