We had lunch at Dhanam Mess on 25 March 2026 while traveling from Ooty to Coimbatore. We ordered non-veg meals, chicken biryani, kalakki, chicken 65, and elaneer payasam. The meals were satisfying overall. The chicken kulambu, rasam, and side dishes were well prepared and flavorful. The standout items were the chicken biryani, chicken 65, and elaneer payasam, all of which were particularly good. The location is convenient, right on the main road, and easy to find. I discovered it through Google Maps while planning a lunch stop, and it turned out to be a great pick.
