They cheat you with the hookah. Start with 1500 , but the bill comes for 2500 .

It was our first time Anjuna beach today and we decided to eat at Curlies. At first it seemed good, they had a grill going on the beach with fresh fish and prawns laid out for customers to choose from. The staff seemed polite at first but his behaviour seemed overly friendly. While placing our order we wanted to get fish and chips but the waiter quickly jumped in to suggest something else much higher in price. We started to refuse but he said the fish fillet is for ₹1500 but you I can give it to you for ₹1000. His point being that our choice fish and chips was the same price. So a fish fillet would be better. So we went along with it.When the time came to pay the bill, the waiter tells us we have paid ₹500 less in the bill. We counted again and were left confused. Turns out this waiter wanted us to pay ₹1000 for the fish and give him the remainder ₹500. We were left stunned, told him that was absolutely absurd, we never agreed to that. We did not pay any extra money and left. Thankfully no ruckus.This place is dubious and fraud. Looking back I don’t think I even checked their menu to look at the price of this item we had. So we may have been charged unfairly!This place is highly overpriced, the drinks and food are obnoxiously priced. Save your money and go to some other place.
