One of those times that you want something rich, buttery, and unabashedly Desi was last night. I decided to go all out and order dal Makhani, dum aloo, and a stuffed kulcha that was the star of the show. The dum aloo is a good performer, so let's start there. The perfect amount of firmness on the outside and softness on the interior allowed the potatoes to withstand the rich, spicy sauce. I might have placed a slightly excessive order, but I honestly have no regrets. Then followed the perfectly prepared, buttery, and creamy dal Makhani. That depth of smoke? I might or might not have spooned it into my mouth (or bowl, I don't judge). Once more, I ordered it a bit too much, but can you really blame me? Dal Makhani hits just when it does. Let me now discuss my favourite part of the meal, the stuffed kulcha
