I am reviewing the Papera Cuisine restaurant in Gonikoppa and not their hotel. It's right on the main road towards Virajpet - pretty conveniently located on the first floor. Not a fancy place, but well decorated with traditional Coorgi weaponry, musical instruments, utensils and artefacts. Service is pretty good and they took care to explain the dishes before we ordered. Food was really good - we tried their Dry Pepper Pork, Chili Pork and Lemon Pepper Chicken along with Akki Roti. Apart from the dry pepper pork - which I found to be a bit hard & chewy, all dishes were excellent. Very good place for Pork lovers. Service: 5

During our visit to Gonikoppal, we had the pleasure of dining at Cuisine Papera, a delightful restaurant nestled along the scenic Virajpet-Mysore Road. This unassuming gem surprised us with its authentic Kodava delicacies and warm hospitality. The restaurant’s interior is adorned with a captivating collection of artifacts—a testament to the owners’ love for Coorgi culture. Each piece seemed to tell a story, adding to the overall ambiance. The heart of Cuisine Papera lies in its kitchen, The food speaks volumes. The staff at Cuisine Papera were genuinely nice and helpful. Cuisine Papera is a hidden treasure for those seeking an authentic Coorgi culinary experience.

Pork and akki roti were good compared to any hotel in Mysore.Service was also good.Since we prepare both pork and akki roti at home the taste is as good as our preparation
