Food (4/5) : Now crunchie corner might serve fast food but not in your conventional McD or KFC kind of way. The primary theme of the food items served at crunchie’s is waffles. This Belgian speciality is used in the most effective way to make interesting and innovative dishes for its customers. The food ranges from burgers, pizzas, pita bread rolls to mocktails and their signature joysticks. I happened to try the fiery chicken pitaza and veggie tower burger. Now they might have borrowed the name of the pizza from a well known delivery chain but I can say that that is it that they incur from them. They provide a very unique taste to their dishes by using savoury waffles as the pizza base and burger buns. These are served with some French fries in order to make the dish ‘complete’. The joystick is something that ought to be tried if you get to visit this eatery. It is basically a chocolate dipped waffle on a stick, something that I had never tried before. The only area of improvement can be the waffle burger bun being too crunchy and lacking softness, thus making the burger a little difficult to be consumed.
Ambience (3/5) : The cafe is pretty small with barely 3 tables. However, they do manage to give a very chilled out, breezy vibe with some good Bollywood songs in the background and wall decor.
Service (5/5) : The staff is attentive and does not leave any stone unturned in giving the visitors a good experience. They are open to customising the dishes and not making the customers wait for a long time.
Value for money (4.5/5) : The average price of a dish (good enough to fill one’s tummy) is around 200 INR which is a very economical alternative for the young crowd in the whitefield area.
