You get food anywhere.. good food at some places.. and recommendable food joints are rare.. this restaurant had been one recommendable food joint.. and I wouldn't call it just a restaurant.. this place served awesome food.. with awesome hospitality. And I feel bad that such a place had to shift to Pune. For Me and my friends, this was just the place where we could take anyone and everyone and they were amazed at the hospitality and warmth of the hostess. This restaurant is owned.. run.. served and made all the more homely by a Goan family.. who are driven not by money but by their love for food.... and of course it served the best of Goan and other dishes.. on one hand I may be disappointed that they are shifting to Pune.. am happy that they would find better customers there.. will miss them..
Let me say it upfront, the food tastes great, though I tried only the vegetarian dishes.
I went there today for a take away, my expectations were quite high after reading the reviews here. I understand it's a cozy little family setup restaurant run by a mother-son duo, that makes people feel warm and welcomed. I was asked to pay Rs.380 and wasn't given a receipt. When I asked for one from the son, suddenly a guy in shorts (might be his brother) intrudes the conversation and asks me in a jocular way why would I need a receipt, would l file it as a memento and took 10 minutes to give me a receipt. This is the nadir of hospitality and to the guy-in-shorts, Bro, Modiji asked for the receipt.
I don't know if they try to do away without giving receipts to everyone, but guys don't forget the receipt.

I ordered Cashew chicken and Cozinha's Special Biryani...the taste is too good...I liked it very much
One speciality is that they are not adding any tasting salt...
I think the restaurant is run by a family without any servants...
They took care of us...
Finally it is must visit for Biryani & Sea food lovers
