Cota cozinha gives you an atmosphere of the Goa of the 90s. No boisterous local tourist crowds, music of the 80s classics and Goan waiters serving you food who know the difference between rava and masala fry. The food is fantastic. They take their time but the food is cooked with patience and love and can be seen when served. The star of the menu is the rechad masala which reminds me of a spicy sweet mole masala my grandma used to cook prawns in for the long monsoon season. We ordered the sausage French fries and ate it with tomato ketchup. The ketchup gets a special mention here as it seems to be homemade. If I could purchase it I would , it was that good. Overall loved the flavor, was a throwback to our Goan roots. To the owner, please keep doing what you're doing as it's tough to find our traditional hole in the wall places anymore.
