If you feel hungry after visiting Smrithi Bhavan, have a meal at this restaurant. The International cuisine is on the menu at Cosmo Cafe. Tasty food is a recipe for success of this place, its chilli chicken is nicely cooked. Good brownies, croissants and pancakes will impress you at the first bite. It's time to degustate great chocolate frappe or delicious coffee.

Ordered a paneer puff to go from the coffee shop near the reception. They told me they don't have, so asked for a veg puff instead. They got it and wanted to charge me the price of paneer puff, I told specifically that this seems like the price for paneer puff - he said it's for veg puff. Since I wasn't sure about it, I made the payment and then asked for the bill. The bill he got was for paneer puff, but remember I received veg puff. So I questioned the waiter again. He knew for sure he was wrong since the start, but he seemed extremely frustrated (since I was acting in my rights as a customer), he opened his wallet and handed me a 20 note along with the bill, asked me rudely to go. I was in a hurry, so didn't want to escalate it further, I stood there and looked at his direction for a moment, then left the scene. Bill #1939 (says Fortune Deli on the bill) Also, the veg puff was horrible beyond belief - not flaky at all (had a thick mass of a layer), neither was the filling tasty. Please visit Bangalore Iyengar Bakery (Gundibail-Manipal road, Doddanagudde) to learn what are good puffs and how to make them. Cosmo Cafe does a good buffet breakfast spread for in house guests as well as others. With a plethora of options, one is bound to find certainly a few dishes for their liking.
Ordered a German Chocolate Cake for my brother's birthday, it was certainly different from the cakes we've usually had, quite unique, less cream, more of a syrup soaked chocolate sponge topped with chocolate shavings and cream was only used for the icing.
The service at the cafe is very good!
