Disappointing Portions and Quality Issues, Despite Decent Taste – Repeated Visits, I have visited Copper Kitchen in Velachery multiple times over the past month, but unfortunately, my experiences have been quite disappointing, especially with portion sizes, preparation quality, and value for money. Chicken 65 Biryani Issue (Last Month's Visit) When I ordered the Chicken 65 Biryani, I was shocked to find pieces of chicken skin mixed in (instead of proper chicken pieces). It felt like a major quality slip-up and completely ruined the dish for me. I was really disappointed, but sadly my phone got reset shortly after, so I lost the photo proof. This shouldn't happen in a dish like Chicken 65 Biryani. Portion Sizes and Pricing Concerns Across multiple orders: Last time: Chicken 65 Biryani (taste was good) + Paneer Fried Rice — the fried rice portion was very less (barely enough for one person), while the prices felt quite high for the quantity. This time (today): Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice + Paneer Schezwan Fried Rice — again, both portions were extremely small, way below expectations. Taste was just average/normal (nothing special). In the chicken version, I expected fried chicken pieces but got boiled chicken instead, which made it feel underwhelming. Service Experience During today's dine-in, even though many chairs/tables were empty, the staff asked us to wait just for two chairs. This added to the overall disappointment. Overall, the taste is decent in some dishes, but the portions are consistently very small, the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, and there are occasional quality lapses (like skin in biryani or boiled chicken in fried rice). For the money, I expected better quantity and consistency. I hope the management looks into portion control and ingredient quality — would love to give it another try if things improve!. Has anyone else faced similar issues with portions here?
