Very limited selection in buffet food for the price they charge...no quality of food few flies found. Miles apart from there phoenix branch We went for team lunch every one had similar reaction
Writing this review exactly one month after my visit.
It was a Monday, friend and me entered this place for lunch at 1:45 pm.
We were seated at a table we chose. Must say the restaurant was filled to one fourth of it's capacity (or even less). We made the mistake of choosing the buffet.
Went to get the soup and was surprised to see just 4 vegetarian dishes (we both ate veg) that too almost done.
Filled out plates and we're back at the table. All the stuff was stale.
Went back for the main course, again was surprised to see there was just plain rice. Was looking out for sambhar or rasam, or pulav or biryani (you get at least either one of these rices and one of the dishes in any buffet). None of these could be found. Hence, settled with rice and curd.
Salads and desserts - most of them needed a refill which was never done.
The only saving grace were the rotis which were served at the table and the (chocolate) ice cream and kheer.
Rubbing salt to the wound was the Rs. 95 charged for a (1 LTR) bottle of Aquafina!
I have been to Copper Chimney in Chennai and it's a wonderful experience each time. Looks like they have a different yardstick for Bangalore.
Been there tonight. Probably the best authentic North Indian restaurant in Bangalore. The Chicken malai tikka was sumptuous and extremely delicious. We had butter naan and murg makhani which were ravishing in taste. The only drawback is as per the price the quantity is a bit of a letdown but it compensates that with quality. Overall totally worth it.
