Ideally a biryani is known for its aroma, the long grained rice (Basmati rice), its authentication comes from it being cooked and fried, the traditional Indian spices, and a very good marination.

Luckily the delicacy we had, fitted the flavours very well but the paneer marination (Cottage cheese) from the outlet wasn't upto the mark. Cottage cheese was very soggy and it didn't tasted afresh.

The biryani otherwise was okay. It was served with a roasted papad, pickle and dahi-raita which was very delicious. Filled with alot of veggies both the biryani as well as the raita it a sumptuous affair.
