We were welcomed into this big for a coffee shop place which was more or less empty. It has a very well done decor, and well utilised space. The menus are equally well done with things like maggie pizza and sandwich available, an obvious gesture at attracting a maggie loving/surviving generation.
A maggie pizza, another attempt/experiment at waffle we ordered for chocolate waffle, ice tea and garlic maggie for the first round.
The chocolate waffle came well garnished with a nice scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce. After trying at various well known waffle places, I finally found a pretty good waffle. It was awesome, moist, the chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream added to the flavor. The magie pizza, an innovation in itself was amdavadi crucnchy pizza topped with maggie and baked to perfection. It was the best combination of two very loved things, I have ever had. Although a little messy coz maggie made the base soggy but valiant effort. Must try. The maggie however was just ok, nothing to rave about. We had called for a cinamon flavored iced tea and a diiferent flavor was welcomed.
Waffles with maple and nachos supreme were the second round. The waffles were again superb! The nachos were laden with cheese, nice.
So far so good, satisfied we asked for the bill. The waiter came and said the machine is not working, your bill is 820rs. We asked for a hand written bill and were refused saying there was no bill book and no paper to write it on. Thats when we told them we will not pay if we do not get a written invoice, is when the bill generated automatically from the machine. The management should take note of this, a bill book is mandatory, paying off hand is bad for business if it is not a chai shop.
However the food is great so is the palce, except for this glitch we had a thoroughly lovely time. It is also value for money not very expensive, filling and tastes well.
