A new vegetarian café in Aundh, this one directly opposite the Westend Mall on a shady side street. It opened only a week before I stopped by to check out what had taken the place of a former ice cream parlor. Apparently Coffee All Day is a chain and this is probably its most recent branch.Although you have to go inside to order, you eat outside on the small patio at a bright pine wood table or in one of several white designer chairs. Ambience isn't the greatest, especially because of a snack vendor immediately on the other side of a fence separating the café from a phone store, and a lot of traffic on the main road intersecting the side street the café is on. But it's pleasant enough, service excellent, food good, and prices extremely reasonable (although parceling costs Rs 5 to 10, depending on what's taken out).My paneer tikka pizza was quite yummy and gooey -- deep dish style. I couldn't believe it cost only Rs 130 for an 8-incher! I took 4 slices away to share with friends, and they were quite impressed with it. The take-out box was just as attractive as the price.I might have also ordered a cup of coffee but to my surprise found out that they don't offer it (despite the name Coffee All Day). At least not yet. I was told that probably they will as of next week.All in all, a nice little place to stop for a bite. And certainly great value for price!
