I had high hopes for Coconut Goan Fish Thali, especially given the name promising authentic seafood, but unfortunately, almost every aspect of our recent visit was a significant letdown. The Food: Lackluster and Uninspired We visited specifically for the Goan Fish Thali, which should be the restaurant's signature strength, but it was surprisingly poor. Taste: The fish curry was thin and lacked the rich, spicy, and tangy punch Goan cuisine is famous for. It tasted overly diluted and generic. Quality: The fish itself (our piece of Kingfish) did not taste fresh; it was dry and had a slightly fishy odor, suggesting it was likely not sourced that day. Sides: The accompanying sides were bland, and the portions were quite small for the price point. Overall, the food felt like a tourist-trap version of Goan food—lacking in flavor, freshness, and care. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
