Rather unprofessional set-up. They don't keep promises. Be careful while dealing with them, so as to save yourself from embarrassment. I found Niko Hotel on the same road, far more reliable. 01/12/24 This is in response to the hotel's reply: The hotel's response sounds hollow, having experienced their unprofessional attitude to hospitality, twice. The staff, including the Manager, need better training for dealing with serious customers. Perhaps, the hotel is satisfied with the present volume of business, and therefore doesn't care. Earlier, I had moved a 70 room-nights and a 70-pax dinner business to Niko since their approach inspired more confidence in me, of being capable of handling the event, which had a large number of foreign guests. Although the Cochin Palace property is better, the staff didn't appear trained enough to handle sophisticated guests.

I recently stayed at Hotel Cochin Palace for one night and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped through the door. The service was top-notch, with every request attended to promptly and with a smile. The rooms and bathroom were spotlessly clean, which is always a priority for me when choosing accommodation. The cozy environment adds to the overall charm of the hotel, making it a relaxing retreat after a busy day of travel. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious buffet breakfast.
