Don’t visit Coal Barbecues in Velachery. We went today and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences ever. The food had absolutely no taste, everything was served super late, and the space is so cramped we couldn’t even keep our plates properly. They didn’t even provide basic water — for 16 people they gave only two bottles. No one attends the table, and each dish arrives after 10 minutes, so we just kept waiting. My hands literally got burned and dried because nothing was provided normally. The squid was the worst part — completely rubbery, couldn’t chew at all, like bubblegum. Overall, terrible service, tasteless food, zero basic hospitality. Please don’t waste your money at the Velachery branch. I’ll attach the photos too. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
