You can always enjoy tasty fried chicken, roti and fish - a special offer of this restaurant. It is nice to try great coffee. Food delivery is a big plus of CICADA CAFE ( THE COORG CUISINE ). The attentive staff welcomes visitors all year round. Medium prices are something that should be said about this place. Google gives it 4 so you can select this spot to have a good time here.

Breakfast - very good ( dosa and idly) Chapathi and paneer - average. Coffee - out of the world, too good. Definitely not to be missed. Service - too good and the best part is a separate kitchen for non veg and veg. Alternate choice to the routine food of Club Mahindra Virajpet. Just a few meters from the entrance. Located right outside the second gate of Club Mahindra Virajpet, this restaurant is a good alternative to high priced food inside the resort. We had a lunch here which was decent in taste. Coorg chicken curry was a bit sour for our palate but not bad. I later realised that kodava meat dishes are generally on a sour and tangy side. We then tried their breakfast the next day. Idli, wada and masala dosa.... everything was good. The chutney was really tasty and the sambhar served with it was too good. It was piping hot, had a lot of veggies and was absolutely flavourful.
