Unfortunately for us and big clubs this part of Goa, the Sunburn festival pulled a big crowd away from us, and as we’re a large club, it impacted the vibe we usually have when we’ve got more people around. We thrive on a buzzing crowd to make the space feel alive! Regarding the chicken lollipop, we’ve decided to swap it for butter chicken. The lollipop was causing a bit of a debate: half the crowd wanted it soft, the other half wanted it crispy like a nugget. With the rush of orders, it’s just tricky to keep it gourmet! So, butter chicken it is — a safe crowd-pleaser. As for the DJ situation, when the crowd is smaller, he gets bombarded with song requests ranging from Punjabi to Latin to retro, and at times, he just switches tracks on demand to keep the peace and focus on his music. We advertise our main genres (HipHop, R&B, Latin House, and a recent addition of Bollywood), but once we start playing Bollywood, everyone wants their track. It’s a flood of requests, and we totally get how it can be frustrating, but it also distracts the DJ from building the vibe. We’re a club that attracts a wonderfully diverse crowd, and we really appreciate guests who are open to a variety of genres and let the DJ do his thing to create a great atmosphere.
