I’ve been to cloud street a few times because I frequently visit Kodai. The last time I visited was exactly a year ago! Today, I walked out of the restaurant ten minutes ago feeling disappointed. The hot chocolate was diluted , the chocolate wasn’t rich enough. I drank better hot chocolate on the streets of Kodai yesterday for lesser price. The pizzas didn’t seem to be wood fired at all. Something was definitely off with their quality considering I’ve eaten better food right there in the past years. But what pissed me off was the attitude of one of the guys there. Not sure if he’s the owner. There was a lady working the tables taking orders , and she was the one to take our order. But someone else delivered the food to our tables and when he delivered our second pizza, I wanted to follow up with a sandwich coz we felt like we weren’t satiated enough. As I was ordering my food , he cut me right there and said there was no point in ordering to him and he was only merely in charge of delivering food to different tables and even if I ordered with him, I’d have to wait forever to get my food. It was his tone and the way in which he said it that pissed me off. He said he would ask one his guys to take my order but no one there seemed to care. But he seemed to be attending another table of what seemed like 20 high school students with way more enthusiasm. That was my queue to get the hell out of that place! Even if I were the owner of a restaurant running at full capacity I would receive an additional order from a table if someone placed some extra food. Nothing wrong, he wasn’t gonna lose anything, but the attitude he displayed today is the reason he will lose my goodwill. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
