Short review - Do not go there. Detailed review: I hope my review is the review which closes this unit. Clean Slate Café? More like Dirty Plate Disaster. 1. Peri Peri Fries – or should I say Peri Peri-less Fries. After three rounds of “please add peri peri,” I gave up. At this point, I think their chef believes peri peri is a myth, like unicorns or customer satisfaction. 2. Pizza – They proudly served me a “ready-to-eat base.” Ready to eat for whom? Prison inmates? Stray dogs? Actually, scratch that—dogs deserve fresh food. If I gave this to a dog, I’d have to file an FIR under animal cruelty. 3. Pasta – Looked like it had been through a cement mixer. Tasted like porridge, but with less dignity. 4. Garlic Noodles – If salt mines and an oil factory had a love child, this would be it. Slurping it felt like taking a dip in the Arabian Sea after spilling a can of engine oil. 5. Loaded Nachos – A crime against nachos everywhere. Instead of salsa and cheese, they gave me dried cheese shavings glued together with tomato ketchup. Heinz should sue them for defamation. To top it all, the staff seemed far more interested in watching the India–Pakistan match and pushing us out the door than in serving food. Tables were dirty, service was dismissive, and the whole experience was a culinary hostage situation. In short, this wasn’t a meal. This was punishment. Someone please rescue the kitchen staff—or better yet, shut the place down and let the building be converted into something useful, like a parking lot. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
