After seeing Kalachakra Temple, it may be a good idea to visit this restaurant. Italian and Nepalese cuisines are to the pleasure of all clients here. Try nicely cooked momos, fried chicken and green curry. Come here for tasty blueberry pie, blueberry cheesecakes and chocolate cakes if you are hungry. It's a must to order delicious beer or good cordial while visiting The Clay Oven Restaurant. Get your meal started with great cold coffee, ginger tea or thai tea.

The Clay Oven Restaurant, located in the bustling Main Square of McLeodganj, offers an aesthetically simple and serene Himalayan-Tibetan vibe. The decor features charming spherical lanterns and simple wooden tables and chairs, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We tried their chicken momos and egg fried rice. The momos were outstanding—perfectly steamed with a flavorful filling, and the accompanying momo chutney and chili oil were absolutely fabulous. The egg fried rice, while standard, was well-prepared but overshadowed by the delicious momos. The prices are on the steeper side, but considering its prime location and authentic Tibetan charm, it’s worth the visit for a relaxed meal in McLeodganj.
