Fishaurant is pretty near INTACH Heritage Centre. Many visitors of this restaurant say that perfectly cooked oysters, fish curry and fried crabs are offered here. Taste good payasam.

We were excited to try this highly rated restaurant and hence went for an early dinner to Fishaurant. The restaurant is clean and hygienic with an open kitchen behind the glass. We were well attended by Mr Surya and his team. We asked for their speciality and experimented on the Leatherjacket fish as per Mr Surya's suggestion. Being from Mumbai, we have tried variety of fishes but this fish was one of the best we have ever had! The texture was buttery and it was deliciously grilled to retain all the juices. You can rely on Mr Surya's honest recommendations to suit your taste. We also tried the fish curry which pleased our taste buds as well. In the end, you can make your own Pan with all the ingredients kept at the counter :)
Overall, a definite recommendation if you are looking for a seafood feast in Pondicherry!
