Dining experience at Civil Lines Social was overwhelmingly positive, solidifying its reputation as a go-to spot for great food and a lively atmosphere. We sampled a curated selection of dishes, each leaving a distinct impression. The meal began on a high note with the Crispy Corn Chakna, a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavours with a satisfying crunch. The Paneer Tikka and Bell Pepper Pizza was another standout; the base was exceptionally thin and crispy, providing a fantastic textural contrast to the soft, smoky paneer and fresh bell peppers. The beverage, a Virgin Mojito, was refreshing and perfectly balanced, cutting through the richer flavours of the food. The only letdown was the Tandoori Soya Chaap. While the marinade was flavourful, the chaap itself was served lukewarm, detracting from the intended "straight-from-the-tandoor" experience. The accompanying burner, a clever concept to keep it sizzling, was unfortunately not lit, which was a missed opportunity. Despite this, the service was prompt and courteous, and the ambience was exactly as promised—energetic, modern, and buzzing with a cheerful vibe they clearly nurture. It's a fantastic place for a social gathering, and I will certainly be returning, perhaps to give the chaap another try or to further explore their inventive menu. A highly recommended venue with just a small note for the kitchen on serving temperatures.
