Not only should Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dwarka be visited, but also Civil Lines Social. Visitors highlight that they like the menu of Chinese cuisine at this bar. Do not go away without degusting perfectly cooked paneer, vegetable pizza and momos. Civil Lines Social serves good beer. Drink the great coffee, juice or tea offered here.

The Civil Lines Social is well located, just outside the Civil Lines Metro Station. It is located adjacent to the historic Exchange Stores Building . The ambience (in the closed area) is nice and the staff is slow but friendly. You have ceiling fans, a gramophone, old typewriter and piano on display and many old photographs to create a historic ambience, fitting in the environs of the Civil Lines area of Delhi. The food is a bit pricey and quantities leave much to be desired. The taste is nice. Unlike the Saket Social, I found the place to be quieter. However, if you are sitting outside and it's the evening, be prepared to be bitten by swarms of mosquitoes. In Dengue season, the place is a strict no go. I wonder why the management does nothing about that mosquitoes! A few repellent coils placed under the tables should help. Over all, it's a likeable place.
