City Centre Café, Margao (Gogol) — Where the Ambience Wins but Everything Else Trips Over Walked in thinking I’d found Margao’s next best hangout — plush interiors, cozy lighting, all the right café vibes . Walked out 45 minutes later… still waiting for French fries and asking for a refund instead of dessert. The food? Let’s just say it looks fancy but tastes suspiciously like it came from another bakery down the road — at twice the price . The owner talks a big game about serving “Goa’s finest,” but the only thing fine here is the décor . If only they’d put the same love into service and pricing as they do into their furniture, this place could shine. But with all the new spots opening at Ambience Primavera, they might soon be yesterday’s latte . Verdict: Great ambience, mediocre food, painful service.
