A Wonderful Family Stay — Highly Recommend for Families with Infants! We recently stayed at Sandal Suites by Lemon Tree Hotels, Noida, as a family of three — myself, my wife, and our 6-month-old baby boy. We had originally booked a Standard Suite but we upgraded it to a Deluxe Suite, which gave us access to a kitchen and a bathtub — both absolute lifesavers when travelling with an infant. That upgrade alone set the tone for what turned into a genuinely pleasant stay. Arrival & Concierge Salman from the concierge team made our arrival effortless. With a baby in tow and bags in hand, his swift assistance was exactly what we needed. A small gesture, but a big impact. Reception There was a minor hiccup at check-in and we missed out on the welcome drink, but the reception staff more than made up for it with their warmth and attentiveness. They were polite, welcoming, and consistently proactive in ensuring our stay — especially with a young baby — was as comfortable as possible. Every request was met promptly and cheerfully. Housekeeping A special shoutout to Vinay, Vineet, Hem, and the entire housekeeping team (apologies for not remembering everyone's names!). They were polite, gentle, and incredibly responsive to all our baby-related requests. Having a considerate housekeeping team makes such a difference when you're managing an infant's routine away from home. Restaurant & Kitchen Breakfast timing was a little challenging for us given the baby's schedule, but we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Chef Ajendra and the restaurant team — Atul, Prashant, Anish, Manisha, and others — were wonderfully hospitable. What truly touched us was that the staff would occasionally carry our baby boy around so my wife and I could finish our dinner in peace. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated. On the food front, the spread was good (at times need more spices) and Chef Ajendra was always happy to prepare something special on request, which is great. That said, the buffet could sometimes feel a little bland or dry, likely catered to a more neutral palate for a mixed group of travellers. As someone who enjoys bold flavours (I could happily have chilly thecha and roti every morning!), I found it tad mild — though the chef did make a couple of attempts to spice things up for me. My wife, however, was quite happy most of the time with the spread overall. Security The only area I would flag for improvement is the security process. While I understand the need for protocols, a little flexibility — especially during rush hours — would go a long way. Manually checking a baby bag or registering for an umbrella during a busy moment feels like unnecessary friction for guests. Empowering security staff to exercise better judgment in such situations would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. It also depends on the security staff to take such calls at their judgement. Overall Despite the small niggles, Sandal Suites gave us a stay we will remember fondly — largely because of the people. The staff genuinely cared, and that made all the difference for a family travelling with a young baby. We would absolutely choose Sandal Suites again for our next family visit to Noida. I stayed at Sandal Suites, Operated by Lemon Tree Hotels, Noida from 3rd to 15th December under a corporate relocation booking. Due to an unforeseen family medical emergency, I was unable to check in on the scheduled start date (1st December) and checked in on the 3rd instead. The stay was fully utilized thereafter. Despite this, the hotel marked the first two nights as a no-show and charged INR 14,490 as retention fees. What was most disappointing was the lack of any proactive communication from the hotel prior to applying these charges, even for a long-term, bill-to-company reservation. Even after sharing medical documentation, the hotel refused to reconsider the charges, citing standard procedures, and later offered a complimentary dinner instead of addressing the issue. The rigid handling and lack of empathy in an exceptional situation make this a stay I would not recommend for corporate or relocation guests.
