We organized a corporate lunch buffet on 27th February (Friday) at Cilantro for 40 colleagues. While the food quality was satisfactory, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to extremely unprofessional behavior from the hotel management. As the lunch was planned around Holi, a few colleagues applied a very minimal amount of gulal. Upon being advised by the front office manager, we immediately complied, stopped, and began to leave. We only paused briefly near the pool area to take a quick group photograph. During this time, a senior hotel manager (whose name I am unaware of) approached us and began shouting aggressively, demanding to know who had allowed us to do so. The tone was rude, confrontational, and entirely inappropriate—especially considering we had already complied with instructions. Such behavior is unacceptable, particularly from a senior representative of a five-star establishment. Being publicly shouted at in front of colleagues was humiliating and completely overshadowed what was meant to be a positive corporate gathering. We expect far better professionalism, courtesy, and communication standards from a hotel of this stature.
