Edited review after the outlet’s response: 1. Your staff didn’t blame the flies on the door. They blamed them on house plants and said, “It might’ve dropped from one of them.” That’s the level of accountability you’re defending? The place looks filthy—flies buzzing around, dusty corners, and sticky notes on the walls that look like they haven’t been cleaned since you opened. One of them literally has a crude drawing of male genitalia on it—and it’s just sitting there like it belongs. You either don’t notice, don’t care, or worse, think it’s funny. Either way, it speaks volumes about the hygiene and professionalism of your outlet. Sure, ask me for proof for this one as well. 2. Yes, I mentioned mopping—but the real issue was the sweeping. Nobody wants to sit at a table with piles of trash being vigorously swept around like it’s a damn construction site. It’s disgusting, unhygienic, and just plain lazy. There are smarter, more professional ways to clean a space without making your paying customers stare at filth while they try to eat. 3. We asked for a vegetarian pizza. We didn’t say, “Load it with every vegetable you’ve got.” I love how you blindly parrot your staff’s version of events instead of actually addressing what the customer experienced. Don’t pretend like pushing the most expensive item on the menu is a “recommendation.” It’s not—it’s manipulation. 4. The review isn’t biased. It’s just not convenient for you. Maybe instead of jumping to call your staff flawless and your customer dishonest, you teach them how to deal with feedback without immediately turning defensive. Humility isn’t that hard—it’s just clearly not part of your training manual. Also, yes, do share the CCTV footage of the ‘freshly baked’ dish. Upload it to Drive and drop the link here—since you brought it up. Original Review: Absolutely Terrible Experience – Zero Stars I’m sharing my first and last experience at Cibo, and I deeply regret choosing this place. I ordered food for two – a Jamaican chicken satay for myself and a pasta for my partner. The chicken satay arrived with chicken skewers, pita bread, and lettuce. Everything seemed fine at first, but after a few bites, I noticed green aphids crawling out from under the lettuce and onto the pita bread. I immediately called the staff to show them the issue, but their response was appalling. The staff member denied there was any problem with the food’s hygiene, despite me showing him the insects. He even went as far as implying foul play, suggesting the aphids couldn’t possibly have come from the food because the dish was "baked" and then said the insects likely came from one of the plants in the cafe. This was a blatant attempt to deflect responsibility. After some back-and-forth, he reluctantly agreed to replace the dish. The wait time for the initial order was about 20 minutes, and after the replacement, I had to wait another 15+ minutes. Since I was getting late, I asked for the food to be packed. When I got home and unpacked the box, I was horrified to find the exact same dish – same chicken, pita, and even the same lettuce as before. It was a disgusting, careless attempt at resolving the issue. On top of this, the hygiene at the cafe was appalling. There were flies everywhere, sitting not only on people but on their food as well. Staff were sweeping and mopping the floors right in front of diners, which made the entire place feel unclean and unprofessional. For a cafe where the average item prices are 400-500+ per dish, the service and hygiene are shockingly bad. When I asked the staff about the bestsellers, they straight-up pointed to the pizza – and not just any pizza, but the most expensive one. This speaks volumes about their priorities; they’re more interested in pushing high-ticket items than providing a real customer experience. This is by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. With such poor service, hygiene, and an overall disregard for the customer, I’ll never return, and I highly recommend avoiding this place. Dear Saurabh Thanks for leaving a drastically one sided review. While you claim our lettuce had aphids, there is no visual proof of the same and the staff made it very clear that the lettuce is fresh, washed and not stored repeatedly. They also did replace the dish immediately and told you flies are coming in because of a door issue. Regarding the mopping, you dont expect places to shut down every hour to mop down right? Its a standard practice to mop as the tables are cleared and infact its hygiene positive and recommended by the FSSAI to follow this practice to the core. We are a full house during weekends and we can't empty the place to mop it down. My staff recommended you to the most expensive pizza because it is our best seller and you asked for a vegetarian pizza with all veggies. Would you want us to recommend the cheapest dish on the menu because it doesnt fit your agenda at a restaurant? The review is highly biassed and despite my staff doing everything to repair the experience caused by an external issue you are blaming them for something beyond their control. Also we baked and packed you a fresh dish, please let me know if you would like a visual proof (CCTV Footage) for the same. Regards

Cibo by Bob's is a total gem! It's this super cozy little spot that's perfect for a chill, casual meal. The prices are super reasonable too, which is always a plus. We tried a bunch of stuff, but the pancakes were the real showstopper. They were fluffy, light, and oh-so-delicious! The American breakfast platter was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were crispy and golden-brown. The coffee was a nice pick-me-up as well. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy some good food, I'd definitely recommend checking out Cibo by Bob's.
