A very good option for both Veg & Non Vegetarian food in Kumta area. We were looking for a restaurant to have lunch while moving from Honnavar to Gokarna. We checked for 5-6 restaurants on the way but finally had a lunch at Chowdeshwari Garden Restaurant. Parking -. They have parking space which can accommodate 3-4 cars and 5-6 two wheelers. Ambiance - we found that, it is simple yet nice restaurant serving fresh and delicious food. They have 3 seating options (one at the ground floor, next on the first floor and another at the back side of main restaurant). Food (Quality, Quantity & Pricing) -. We opted to have a Chicken Thali, 2 Promplet Thali and a Lady Fish Thali and a Prawns Chilli Garlic Masala. The Promplet, Lady Fish, Prawns and Chicken all were fresh and nicely prepared and cooked. The thali has rice, curry and 2 veg subjis in it. The Aamla Aachar (Leasua Gunda / Desi Kair Pickle) was nice and tasty. They don’t serve Roti/Chapati with the thali and need to order separately. We had requested them to help us with baby food and they just did wonderful job with it. A big thanks for it. The owner herself talked to us regarding the fish varieties and showed us the raw fishes to choose from. The suggestions/recommendations were great and helpful to select the fish. We also observed that many other loca visitors were ordering Chicken Biryani at this restaurant. Cleanliness and Hygiene -. The restaurant was pretty clean and well maintained. Staff & Service -. The staff members were welcoming and they attended us promptly. The instructions and requests were handled carefully and politely. The staff was quick with the service and made sure the service experience is nice and pleasant for us. Overall it was fantastic experience and a wise decision to have our lunch at Chowdeshwari Garden Restaurant in Kumta. The place is beautiful , smelled good,staff are super friendly and food is delicious.The food was fresh and awesome.Everything about restaurant was great
