Having seen Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, it's time to have a rest at Chote Miya. If you like Mughlai cuisine, then this place is worth visiting.
As the title goes this is a very small place (Chote). But the food is out of this world. Being from Bangalore we only believe that Bangalore style (wedding Biryani) is the best. But you must try the boneless chicken tikka Biryani which is a very good contender. This place is also very good for its rolls (my favourite the mutton sheek)
Now the ambiance is something I like. It's open air and in the evening when the lights come on it gives you the feeling of sitting under stars.
Why three and not a four you would say. This place has a small menu and to top it all some veg items like dhal makhnai is never available.
All and all it's a nice place to sit relax and have a good meal.
Exceptionally amazing food. The Chote Miya Special roll is absolutely delicious and should be tried by everyone! Also, the Chicken Tikka biryani and Seekh biryani are something worth trying again and again and again..
With all due respect and consideration for the good reviews Chote Miyan has earned, our experience tonight was TERRIBLE! Perhaps an exception but really awful. The roll (meant to be chicken reshmi tikka roll) had disproportionately more onion and hardly much chicken. It took some effort when eating to discern the presence of chicken in it. We also ordered Chicken Biriyani but were served Tikka Biriyani (they have both on the menu). On conveying our disapproval, the person countered by saying that both are chicken and both are same except that one is boneless! Really? We didn't know. Why would you decide to change the item in spite of the customer placing a clear order. And I tried really hard to believe that the biriyani was dum cooked as you claimed. For the record, I'm writing this after having directly conveyed my feedback at the counter and experiencing absolutely no regrets in return.
