Go there only for the entertainment (Rajasthani dance, puppet dance, palmist), and not for the food. The one star above the minimum rating is for the entertainment. The food is pretty average, one can get better food at almost any dhaba. Overall, it is not worth the 550 Rs per head that is charged
We visited chokar dhani 3-4 times...perfect place for a family picnic...Food was typically vegetarian rajastani cuisine including welcome drink, jhunka-bhakar-thecha, daal bati churma, kadi , khichadi and list goes on...taste wise awesome...they offer various activities for every group like puppet show, ghoomar dance, jyotish, mehendi, diya making, hair massage,etc...overall good place to spend weekends...
It's Rs. 550 a person which includes a welcome drink... A starter and the dinner along with live activities like the magic show , puppet show , ghoomar dance and 17 such activities...
The jhunka bhakar starter was really very very tasty...
And the dinner served with the Rajasthani love and marwadi language all around...
"Seth" "Sethani" is fun...
The Dal baati and jalebi and lemon rice stand out and are extremely very tasty ...
A one time must visit place.. ????
