One of the best Dahi Puri and Pani puri ever had. I have travelled so many places but the best dahi puri here only. The owner is so polite and friendly Also the masala 7up soda is icing on the cake Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We travelled all the way from Bengaluru to Bangarpet—a 56 km train ride—just to try the famous Bangarpet-style chaat, and our first stop was Choice Chat Corner, one of the popular spots in the area. We sampled quite a spread: Dahi Puri, Dahi Bundi, Pani Puri, Nippat Bhel, and Nippat Masala. The most unique part was their Pani Puri, served with four different types of water—lemon, spicy garlic, mint-coriander, and pineapple. It was fun experimenting with the flavours, and the concept was definitely interesting. However, despite the novelty and the anticipation, we found the overall taste to be just “good, not great.” The ingredients were fresh, but none of the dishes truly stood out or wowed us—especially given the long journey and the hype. Maybe our expectations were set too high, or perhaps the flavours have mellowed over time. Worth trying if you're already in Bangarpet, but maybe not worth a special trip just for this.
