To start off - the cake was delivered in a normal cardboard box (Chocolateria San Churro is a brand so i would obviously expect it to have a better packaging). Coming to the cake - this one was definitely not fresh; the bottom layer of sponge wasn't moist enough. The cake itself looked like it was just cut off from a long slab of ready to serve pastry & hence lacked finish (as you can see in the pic).
I'm definitely never going to order a cake from here again - at least not a ready to order cake. I have previously pre-ordered a 1kg cake from their Bandra outlet & it was absolutely awesome.
P.S. The cake weighed about 600g. Wonder why would they give you 600g when you have ordered for 500g - because it's just cut off from a bigger slab of pastry as per estimate.
