If you feel hungry after visiting Gujarat Vidyapith, have a meal at this restaurant. Do not delay your visit – seriously, Chinese and Sichuan cuisines are waiting for you. Taste nicely cooked vegetable spring rolls, chinese soup and stuffed tofu. Many guests come here to enjoy good vanilla ice cream, chocolate custard and mille-feuille. Welcome to China House Ahmedabad Booked on Swiggy for 1 for 10:15 pm, reached the restaurant at 9:55 pm spoke to guy on the desk at the entrance informing him about my reservation for 10:15 and get told that there is no such reservation and they have stopped taking Swiggy Dineout reservations so had to show him that I have paid a small few for ₹25 for the reservation so he let’s me in and just like that the restaurant which seemed shut opens up and get sat and given the menu. Kitchen doors left open by staff who are laying the covers for the nest day and I can hear the whole kitchen talk and the noise from it. Lucky for the restaurant they let me in after almost telling me they were shut when I arrived and now they have another table for 4 covers to feed which is at 10:30. Eat my food and I pay my Bill and leave. Food was great which made up for all the confusion at the entrance and the noise from the kitchen.( guess my arrival made them restart for that night as they almost seemed shut). Overall satisfied with the food and service. Would I visit again? Only if I’m staying at the Hyatt i would get down to eat here won’t be travelling for 1.5kms like this time.
