This restaurant is recommended for the Chinese cuisine offered. Here you will be offered nicely cooked chinese chicken and tasty fried chicken. As most guests state, the service is terrific.
This has been the first chinese outlet on sinhagad road which gave home delivery at place ( otherwise people keep giving reasons ) .. so this is going to be all time favourite for home delivery for chinese.... I haven't seen this place ever but have tasted their food and must say it is definitely good... Quantity is enough , tase is good , promptness on call very well , delivery time fair and best part is they don't add ajinomoto ( this is what they told on call when asked ) , the amount of oil is also less and rates wise also pretty ok ... I tried sweet corn chicken soup... Chicken lollypop. .. Chicken manchurian dry and chicken fried rice all good - the way I expected - desi style chinese ... only the thing I dint like a bit ( about most of the restaurants ) was type of rice (I think they use sella rice- parboiled rice) and it becomes a bit hard to after some time... I think they all sold use some other basmati rice ...
We were looking for one of those 'laal gaadi' places with affordable yet yummy Chinese. While coming towards Rajaram Bridge from Abhiruchi Citypride, you see plenty of those. We missed some, we skipped some, until we came across this spot that looked like what we wanted with better seating and surroundings. What unfolded next ... left us pleasantly surprised.
1. The place is super-clean. Cutlery is all well placed and table clothes are neatly laid out. Decent ambiance ... not quiet corners, but they've decked up the interiors superbly and the place never gets irritatingly noisy or loud. That's swell!
2. The menu has quite a variety.
3. The servers are attentive and the service is on its toes, if not rapidly quick.
We ordered the Lemon Coriander Soup, Paneer Chilly, Burnt Garlic Noodles, and Chicken Crispy. They do have some Tandoor starters and Sizzlers too, but we decided to play it safe and went for Chinese.
The Lemon Coriander Soup was a soother to the senses. It is only for the first time probably in my life when I've had a Lemon Coriander Soup where I could sense the flavor of Coriander in my mouth without the stock or veggies overpowering it.
Paneer Chilly was nice too. The Paneer was soft, well tossed with capsicum and onions, the batter-covering still crispy. The only problem - it was coming off Paneer too easily. So I ended up eating quite a few batter crusts just like that and plain Paneer later. Nothing to complain though.
Burnt Garlic Noodles were typically good. It had that Indo-Chinese touch we were craving for.
Chicken Crispy - Crispy julienne of Chicken tossed in some sweet and tangy sauce. This was the best part of our order there.
I'll be going back to China Express again, for there's a lot more to try. If not for anything, I'll go back for Chicken Crispy! This one's worth the visit. Clean, pretty, affordable, and yummy!
