Tasting perfectly cooked curried crab, fish masala and fried prawns is what many clients advise. Most reviewers suppose that the staff is hospitable at this restaurant. Cool service is something visitors appreciate here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with fair prices at Chilika Dhaba. The atmosphere of this place is enjoyable. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

Great food with cheaper rates are available and some items are unlimited, specially there nonveg item are famous for it, great food and great time has been spend.... Like to visit here again... Chilika Dhaba, located near Chilika Lake in Barkul, Odisha, is a well-known roadside eatery famous for its delicious Odia-style seafood, especially crab masala, prawn curry and fish fry. Its simple, rustic setting and convenient location along NH-5 have made it a favorite among travelers. Over the years, it has built a strong reputation for serving hearty portions of flavorful, locally inspired dishes. However, recent feedback points to a decline in quality and service, possibly due to changes in management. Despite this, the original outlet continues to hold sentimental value and remains a popular stop. They have got a dhaba kind of setup and a separate air-conditioned family section. Ambience is kind of okeish. We ordered lime soda, american corn, mushroom pakoda and prawn dry fry. To be honest, food was way too oily and overuse of spices ruined the actual taste of mushroom. Prawn preparation was somewhat better, cannot complain much about that. But there was no ‘wow’ feeling in that. The overall experience was kind of mixed. Got to know that the brand has expanded to cities like Bhubaneswar, Puri and Bangalore, though these branches have received mixed reviews.
