This restaurant and Pondicherry Botanical Gardens can be both really attractive for tourists. Tasty chicken is served here. Service at Chettinad Vilasam is something one can call enjoyable. From the visitors' point of view, prices are fair.

We order for tandoori, chicken dosa, parotta and gravy. There were tv installed that made our patience ease. The service was slower.
The food was good and nice. The ambience was good.
Mayonnaise has not been given as Complimentary. They charged me for the mayonnaise which comes as Complimentary in many restaurants.
Overall was a good experience can visit once.

The Sambhar rice, was the best I've ever had. Moist and hot with the right level of spice, creamyness of the dhal and ghee along with the flavourful chicken 65 takes you back to your mother's cooking. A must visit with food at VFM prices.
