Chellam Canteen is a place for those who appreciate great food quality and impeccable service. While the menu is limited, the experience is so well-executed that it more than makes up for it. We used to visit this hotel since 1981. I was then working at Palani. They maintain the quality with taste. Very limited varieties of eatables are served here. We could see ladies as waiters who behave very politely. Good service. As it is just in front of the bus stand parking your car could be a problem. But this problem is everywhere. It is worth considering the ambience available inside the canteen. It would be better if they add some tiffin items during lunch time as well.
