Tikka. Cricket. GupShup.
True to its name, Chef Amit is always ready to talk and entertain you for hours and all this while cooking his signature dishes Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani for you.
A simple concept, where Chicken Tikka remains his core item on the menu and all dishes revolve around it. Guess Why? Because this guy cooks delicious Chicken Tikkas. The tikkas are always moist, tender, nicely spiced and served with a damn good mint and coriander chutney.
What to order? If you are a Biryani Lover, go for Butter Chicken Biryani or Chicken Tikka Biryani (if you like it spicy).
For someone like me who loves their Roti or Laccha Paratha, go for Butter Chicken served with a good dollop of butter and cream. For something spicy, go for Chicken Tikka Masala.
I hope he brings back Shakshouka to the menu, He serves seafood (fish and prawns) so seafood lovers, don't be disappointed because he knows to cook his seafood as good as his tikkas.
Had gone for a weekend trip to pune and thought of checking out the food trucks at Life Republic.. I'm a biryani lover but also very choosy about it.. I had the most amazing butter chicken biryani at Chefoodie's Kitchen.. The chicken was perfectly cooked.. The flavours are amazing and Amit bhai cooks with such love and passion that you will feel it in the food he serves.. And he's always up for a good conversation.. Amit bhai you've got to start in Mumbai too.. Missing the biryani..!
Awesome chicken biryani. I am generally left disappointed after having most of the places in pune, but not here. Taste is awesome. The portion which served is sufficient and worth the money.
