This place looks like any normal restaurant and by their appearance you might question their quality or hygiene. But i am a diabetic patient meaning no carbs, no pav nothing from outside, but from chhaya whenever i have ordered and eaten , there is very low sugar spike compared to other restaurants. Things i have tried. Dhokla (it’s a little sweet but minimal spike). Rava dosa ( some spike but still in range). Masala pav, pav bhaji, misal pav (minimal spoke). I had sugar free coffee and tea also, (minimal spike, as compared to starbucks/blue tokai sugar free cappuccino ). They do make fresh food, delivery to nearby locations and are very attentive.
