Disappointing Experience with Charcoal Eats – Not Worth the Price We recently ordered the Chicken Kapsa Rice (600g) from Charcoal Eats, and the experience was quite underwhelming. Firstly, the quantity appeared to be noticeably less than what was promised — certainly didn’t feel like 600g. But what was more disappointing was the quality. The rice tasted like low-grade ration rice — dry, lacking flavor, and not what you’d expect from a premium-priced dish. The chicken, unfortunately, was even worse. It had a strange smell and an odd taste, giving the impression that it was either frozen stale chicken for too long or cooked well in advance and just reheated. It didn’t taste fresh at all. At ₹400, we expected a much better standard of food — fresh, flavorful, and properly portioned. Sadly, Charcoal Eats failed to deliver on all fronts. Honestly, you’re better off visiting a local biryani or kapsa joint where you can get fresh, delicious food for the same or even lower price. Definitely not ordering this again. Food: 1

I recently had the pleasure of trying the veg biryani at Charcoal Eats, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, and the taste did not disappoint.

The biryani was perfectly cooked, with each grain of rice separate and fragrant. The blend of spices was just right, providing a symphony of flavors without overwhelming the palate. The assortment of vegetables was fresh and added a wonderful texture to every bite.

I strongly recommend everyone to experience this from Charcoal Eats - Kalyan.
