One of my favourite cafes in Guwahati. Everything is good about this place. The foods are really tasty and the prices are fit according to the taste and quantity of the foods. And they always play my favourite music. I recommend this place to everyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Saw good rating and good reviews for this place, so thought of giving a try here. And as I read in the review that Biriani was found to be satisfactory, so I ordered Chicken Biriani at the first place. Sadly it was not even close to the real taste, texture and essence. The rice given was the Polau rice! I guess, Polau rice became excess and so they utilized it while preparing biriani! The delicious essence of Biriani was missing. And to make it perfect, a lot of dry spices like cardamom was used. It was so much in quantity that in every spoonful of rice I found one cardamom, which made the eating annoying after a point The chicken was separately cooked with little thick gravy, that was apparently clear. You never get 3-4 small wet pieces of chicken in Biriani!! Overall it was not a good experience for this particular dish, but I don't want to give up on that. Hopefully on my next visit, I would get a better food.

Taste of food is good. You can get some tasty recipes here which you can find in only a few other places in Guwahati. Owner/cook of the restaurant enjoys his job and they have some of their signature recipes in the menu. Nice music! I enjoyed my food along with some great songs from the 90's. Well-behaved staff. Always ready to listen to your feedback. Dining area is congested. Tables are joined, should be separated. Entrance is obstructed by another fast-food joint. People may get confused the fast-food joint with Charcoal Cafe. So, please climb up those few steps and talk to the owner to confirm that you are at the right place.
